Clappana

Clappana is a village in Kollam District of Kerala.

The place is easily accessible as the National Highway 47 passes nearby. Ochira, Kulasekharapuram, Thazhava and Karunagappally are the neighboring places.
Shanmukha Vilasam Higher Secondary School is a major landmark here. The classroom walls of the school are adorned with portraits of people, who are legends. A wooden tab can be seen under each portrait, which gives briefly the lifetime achievement of each person.
